Description
1. These transparent films are designed for computer sign cutting and application on the surface of traffic series reflective sheeting providing the requisite durability and reflectivity.
2. Polycarbonate and polyester over laminates that enhance overall graphic depth while protecting printed materials from UV radiation, environmental elements, moisture and abrasion.
3. Over laminate materials come in a roll format, and are applied after the printing is complete and the ink is dried on press.
4. A nip roller applies pressure where the over laminate and substrate meet, prior to the diecutting station.
5. These materials do affect the diecutting process, as they add another layer of thickness to the label.
6. Thus, converters should be prepared with dies equipped with the appropriate level of sharpness.
