Product Overview

YNM Safety manufactures rubberised chlorinated paint at Hyderabad — a chlorinated rubber protective coating (YNM-122) for shipyards, offshore platforms, chemical bunds, desalination plants, hydroelectric stations and wastewater channels.

Chlorinated rubber paint builds a water-resistant film on primed steel and concrete. It is specified where salt water, humidity, mild acids and alkalis, or petroleum splash would break down a general-purpose enamel. Typical service life is 1.5–2 years, with airless spray, roller or brush application and a recoat window measured in hours, not days.

Manufacturing Process of Rubberised Chlorinated Paint

Rubberised chlorinated paint is a chlorinated rubber coating. The resin is dissolved, plasticised for film flexibility, and loaded with marine pigments so the cured film resists salt water and chemical splash.

01

Chlorinated Rubber Resin

High-molecular-weight chlorinated rubber resin is checked for solubility and film clarity before it enters the batch.

02

Solvent Balance

The solvent blend is set so the resin dissolves cleanly and the paint atomises through standard airless spray equipment.

03

Plasticiser

Plasticiser level is set for a flexible film that follows marine steel through wet-dry and temperature cycles.

04

Pigment and Inhibitor

Marine pigments and corrosion inhibitors are dispersed to build barrier protection on primed steel and concrete.

05

Film and Recoat QC

Each batch is checked for viscosity, touch-dry time and the 6–8 hour recoat window used on shipyard and plant work.

06

Chemical Resistance Check

Cured panels are checked against salt water, mild acid, alkali and petroleum splash before the batch is released.

07

Packing

Paint is filled into 20 L cans or 200 L drums with the solvent system sealed for storage and export.

08

Dispatch

TDS, MSDS and the batch certificate leave with the consignment for site and export documentation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers about this product from YNM Safety—manufacturing, standards, supply, and support.

YNM Safety · Rubberised Chlorinated Paint Manufacturers
  • What is rubberised chlorinated paint?

Rubberised chlorinated paint is YNM Safety’s chlorinated rubber coating (YNM-122). It is a solvent-borne protective paint for shipyards, offshore steel, chemical bunds, desalination plants, hydroelectric stations and wastewater channels.

  • Where is rubberised chlorinated paint used?

Typical applications are shipyards and dry docks, offshore oil platforms and marine steel, chemical processing plant bunds, desalination and coastal water facilities, hydroelectric stations, and wastewater treatment plants and sewage channels.

  • How is chlorinated rubber paint applied?

It is applied by airless spray, roller or brush over a prepared, primed surface. Touch dry is about 30 minutes and recoat is typically 6–8 hours, which suits shipyard and plant maintenance windows.

  • What does the coating resist?

The cured film is specified for salt water, humidity, mild acids and alkalis, and petroleum splash. It is a maintenance coating for corrosive atmospheres, not a road marking paint.

  • Which colours and pack sizes are available?

Standard marine colours include white, grey, aluminium, black, red, blue, green, yellow and orange, with project colours on request. Packing is 20 L cans and 200 L drums.

  • Can YNM Safety export rubberised chlorinated paint?

Yes. YNM Safety exports chlorinated rubber paint with MSDS, batch documentation and export packing from Hyderabad. Email sales@ynmsafety.com or call +91 81215 50143 with the area, substrate and quantity.
