Product Overview

Floor Coatings (YNM-126) is an epoxy and polyurethane floor coating range manufactured by YNM Safety for industrial and commercial floors that must carry traffic, resist chemicals and stay clean. An uncoated concrete floor dusts continuously as its surface laitance breaks down, contaminating products and equipment, and it absorbs oil and chemical spills that then cannot be removed.

The range spans solvent-free epoxy coatings for general industrial floors, high-build and self-levelling systems where a seamless monolithic surface is required, and polyurethane topcoats where UV stability and greater flexibility are needed — such as exposed car park decks. Anti-skid aggregate can be broadcast into ramps and wet areas.

YNM-126 is specified in warehouses and distribution centres, manufacturing plants and assembly floors, car park decks and ramps, heavy vehicle workshops, food and pharmaceutical hygiene areas, and laboratory and clean-room floors where cleanability is a compliance requirement.

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers about this product from YNM Safety—manufacturing, standards, supply, and support.

YNM Safety · Floor Coatings
  • What is the difference between epoxy and PU floor coatings?

Epoxy gives high hardness, abrasion resistance and chemical resistance, which suits interior industrial floors and warehouses. Polyurethane is more flexible and UV stable, so it is preferred for exposed areas such as car park decks and top coats over epoxy.

  • Which system suits forklift traffic in a warehouse?

High-build epoxy systems are specified in racking aisles and loading bays, where concentrated point loads and constant wheel abrasion are the governing conditions. Share your traffic type and slab condition for a system recommendation.

  • Is an anti-skid finish available for ramps and wet areas?

Yes. Anti-skid aggregate is broadcast into the coating on ramps, turning circles and wash-down areas to raise slip resistance where tyres scuff and water is present.

  • Are the coatings suitable for food and pharmaceutical areas?

Seamless, coved, non-tainting finishes are used for food and pharmaceutical floors so they withstand frequent washdown and sanitiser without degrading, and can be cleaned to a documented standard.

  • What surface preparation and downtime should be planned?

Concrete is mechanically prepared by grinding or shot blasting to remove laitance and open the surface, and moisture content is checked. Light traffic is typically possible after about 24 hours with full chemical cure at around 7 days.

  • Who is YNM Safety?

YNM Mega Industries Pvt Ltd is an Indian manufacturer and exporter of road marking paints, metal beam crash barriers, retro reflective signages, and related road safety products, based in Telangana with supply across India and 50+ countries.
