Waterproofing for Buildings & Residences (YNM-125) is a liquid-applied waterproofing range manufactured by YNM Safety for terraces, roofs, basements, bathrooms, sunken slabs, water tanks, balconies and external walls. In buildings, water damage rarely announces itself early — it appears as damp patches, peeling paint, efflorescence and ceiling stains long after the ingress path has formed, by which time remedial work means breaking finishes.
The range is formulated as elastomeric membranes that cure to a seamless film with high elongation, so they accommodate the thermal cycling a terrace experiences daily and the settlement movement common in new construction. Separate grades address positive-side terrace and facade exposure, negative-side basement pressure, and the immersion conditions inside water tanks.
YNM-125 is specified on residential terraces and roofs, apartment basements and lift pits, bathroom and utility sunken slabs, overhead and underground water tanks, balconies and parapets, and building facades where driving rain penetrates masonry and plaster.

The range covers terraces and roofs, basements and lift pits, bathroom and utility sunken slabs, overhead and underground water tanks, balconies and parapets, and plastered external walls and facades. Separate grades are used for positive-side, negative-side and immersion exposure.
Terrace grades are formulated for positive-side exposure with high elongation to absorb daily thermal cycling and UV. Basement grades are formulated for negative-side application, where groundwater pressure pushes water inward through the structure.
Immersion-grade, non-tainting systems are used for water tanks so the coating survives permanent contact with stored water and periodic cleaning. Confirm the intended use when enquiring so the correct grade is supplied.
