Product Overview
Waterproofing for Roads (YNM-124) is a liquid-applied waterproofing system manufactured by YNM Safety for bridge decks, culverts, box drains, retaining structures and concrete pavements. Water ingress is the single largest cause of premature deterioration in road structures — it carries chlorides to embedded reinforcement, drives corrosion, and leads to spalling, delamination and eventual structural repair at many times the cost of the original waterproofing.
The system is applied as a seamless, cold-applied membrane that cures to a flexible film with crack-bridging capability, accommodating the thermal movement and live-load deflection that rigid coatings cannot tolerate. Because it is liquid-applied, it seals around drainage outlets, kerb junctions, expansion joints and service penetrations where sheet membranes are most likely to fail.
YNM-124 is specified on highway and expressway bridge decks, ROB and RUB structures, culverts and box drains, subway and underpass slabs, retaining walls and reservoir-adjacent pavements where long-term protection of the concrete substrate is required.
